Drew Arthur: Michael, my sincere condolences to you and your family. I first met your dad teaching along your side at the Karate Colleg in Virginia (1996 or 97). He had already had a stroke. I noticed that he had the energy, and passion for teaching that younger , and healthier instructors did not have. I also noticed his easy to understand verbalization of the techniques. Many instructors can demonstrate a teachnique, but can not easily explain it. Your father did this on the mats (while using a cane), he explained it in an easy to understand manner, and he executed it at the same time.

He will be missed. We Instructors/Teachers, and martial arts students are still fortunate in that we still have Michael DePasquale JR. We can continue to see Master Depasquale's Greatness in martial arts instruction through his son (Michale DePasquale JR.)

Mike, God bless you and your family, your father is standing and looking into the face of his lord Jesus Christ.

Drew Arthur

David A. Fultz: God bless the DePasquale family . What a proud legacy .
