Sensei Chris Marquez traveled to Germany on September 7th from the Jacksonville Hombu at the request of Professor Sanchez to conduct seminars there on September 9th and 10th for the San-Jitsu Ryu Federation of Germany. The seminars which covered techniques against empty hand attacks as well as weapons were well received according to our Germany representatives, Senseis Thorsten Isringhausen, Jorg Aderhold & Heinz Schedereiter who also received promotions in proxy from Grandmaster Sanchez during the seminars. In return, Grandmaster Sanchez was presented with awards from the Martial Arts Association – International in conjunction with the San-Jitsu Ryu Federation of Germany at a special presentation on September 14th at the Jacksonville Hombu . The awards given in acknowledgement of Grandmaster Sanchez’s 47 years in the arts were awarded in proxy by Sensei Marquez.
San-Jitsu continues to spread worldwide....

NEW REPRESENTATIVE APPOINTMENT FOR POLAND
Per recommendation of Sensei Heinz Schedereiter of the United San-Jitsu Ryu Federation of Germany, Sensei Wieslaw Bigos is now our Representative in Poland. Sensei Bigos holds an 8th Toan in Chan Sholin Si Diu Su Kung-Fu & a 3rd dan in Yama Ryu Aiki Ju-Jitsu. WELCOME Sensei Bigos to our worldwide family of SAN-JITSU!
Also, despite hardships from Sri Lanka’s tsunami & the illness of his Dad, Sifu Prasad Wickramasinghe of Sri Lanka continues to train in SAN-JITSU & Wing Chun & is now a Sports Instructor in Matale, Sri Lanka.
In the media this time around... SAN-JITSU was featured in the September/ October issue of BUDO INTERNATIONAL Magazine with a piece outlining the creation of PROFESSOR SANCHEZ’s system on Guam, a U.S. Pacific Territory in the Western Pacific in 1971. The piece was written by Sensei Jon Haupt of the Jacksonville Hombu.
A half page ad also appears in the December 2006 issue of BLACK BELT Magazine on page 30
regarding PROFESSOR SANCHEZ’s world renowned organization of the WORLD HEAD OF FAMILY SOKESHIP COUNCIL. The ad placed by the PROFESSOR’s Communications Manager for the WHFSC, Soke Daniel Verkerke of Canada highlights the Council’s 14th year of existence as the largest & most elite of the martial arts grandmasters/ masters councils in existence today.
Also from Hawaii, Professor Jaime Abregana of the Hawaii Martial Arts International Society has informed PROFESSOR SANCHEZ that his picture will appear as part of a special exhibit at the Blaisdell Auditorium there in Hawaii featuring the legendary grandmasters of the Islands……
In October, Professor Sanchez travels to Valencia, Spain.
