His message to all parents: “Everything a person sets out to accomplish is because someone has instilled in them the belief that they could do it.” Children who are not sure of themselves lack confidence and will yield to the pressures of negative peer groups that will stunt their emotional growth and prevent them from actualizing their true potential.” As to the students, Professor Lockhart, Sr. tells them “not to be afraid to always do their best, regardless of what they set out to accomplish.” Professor Lockhart, Sr. continues to receive local school and parental support in spreading his message.

Professor Lockhart, Sr. currently owns and operates Family Martial Arts on Loop 410 and Marbach and continues to pass on to his students the tradition of winning in life and that true opportunity is created through hard work, preparation and commitment.
